The Independent Anti-Corruption Advisory Committee has issued its terms of reference

On November 9th, 2021, the terms of reference of the Independent Anti-Corruption Advisory Committee (CCIA) were issued.

The CCIA’s mission is to optimize the effectiveness of the efforts of the Republic of Moldova in leading the fight against corruption. The Committee will analyze systemic issues of corruption that impact state institutions thus enhancing their capacity to take appropriate action for greater positive impact on the problem. The CCIA was established via presidential decree on June 7th, 2021, and has three international experts and three national experts, with extensive experience in anti-corruption policy and practice, public administration policy and practice, civil society activism and governance policy development.

The terms of reference will come into force upon final approval as of November 20th, 2021.
